Abstract

摘要

Intense periodic electric field in crystal has been known for a long  time and has wide applications. We study the conversion of axion-like  light particle and photon in the intense electric field in crystal. We  find that the conversion of keV mass scale axion-like particle and  photon can happen with sizeable rate for energy larger than keV range.  We propose search of axion-like light particle using X-ray and the  intense crystalline field, and discuss a variety of shining-through-wall  experiment using crystal. In particular, this type experiment can probe  axion-like particle in the mass range from eV to keV to the best  sensitivity in laboratory.
