F-theory is a powerful geometric formulation of strongly coupled IIB superstring theory, with many applications in string phenomenology and SCFT engineering. In this talk, I'm going to overview an ongoing classification program of all F-theory geometric solutions. After studying the properties of a "typical" F-theory model, we hopefully get hints on the most natural way of embedding standard model physics in string theory framework and even dark matter physics.
