Speaker

报告人

David Kosower

Abstract

摘要

Thanks to unitarity-based techniques, and the Bern-Carrasco-Johansson representation, new explicit calculations of ultraviolet divergences in gravity theories have become possible in recent years. Although lore suggests that supergravity theories should be ultraviolet divergent, only one explicit divergences has actually been found, at four loops in N=4 supergravity. I describe a first step in understanding possible connections between evanescent operators, the anomaly, and the ultraviolet divergence.
