Abstract

摘要

Like positronium in QED, bottomnium hyperfine splitting is a good place to test QCD. There were progresses made in this direction both on the experimental and theory side.
The first theoretical prediction was 41 \pm 14 MeV obtained by B. Kniehl, A. Penin, A. Pineda, V. Smirnov and M. Steinhauser in 2004. Then in 2008 BarBa Collaboration measured the mass of \eta_b for the first time and gave 71^{+3.5}_{-4.1} MeV for HFS, while Belle reported 57.9 \pm 2.3 MeV in 2012. Results evaluated by lattice NRQCD were available from 2012. However, there is a discrepancy between the results obtained by two different groups based on the same lattice data. The physics behind it will be discussed in the talk.
