Abstract
摘要 |
South Africa hosts the international collaboration project: Square Kilometre Array, which is the largest telescope array of the world. The key scientific objective of the project is to probe the Epoch of Reionization of the Universe, to study the neutral hydrogen emission from galaxies, and to measure a large number of samples of pulsars and transit objects. In this talk, I will give an overview of South Africa astronomy project and introduce the opportunities that theorists can involve. In addition, I will also introduce the bilateral collaboration that has been established between China and South Africa, and its brief history of 20th century. |
