The key scientific objective of the project is to probe the Epoch of Reionization of the Universe, to study the neutral hydrogen emission from galaxies, and to measure a large number of samples of pulsars and transit objects. In this talk, I will give an overview of South Africa astronomy project and introduce the opportunities that theorists can involve.
