Abstract

摘要

Visualizing and modeling of carrier motions in solid and soft materials is a very challenging research subject in science and electronics. During the past 15 years I have been developing techniques that are capable of observing carrier distributions in organic thin films by using optical methods. These techniques are Electric field induced optical second harmonic measurement (EFISHG), Photoluminescence decaying measurement (PL), and Charge modulation spectroscopy measurement (CMS). In this talk, basic ideas and experimental methods of these three techniques will be briefly discussed, and some experimental results we carried out for organic field effect transistors are demonstrated.
