Abstract

摘要

I have been studying physical properties of organic thin films including insulators and semiconductors. To study orientational motion of dipoles in organic monolayers, I have developed Maxwell-displacement-current measuring-technique (MDC). Also I developed electric field induced optical second harmonic generation measurement (EFISHG) for probing electronic carrier motions in organic thin films. .These two techniques were quite new, and these are introduced in Nature papers. In this presentation, I will give a talk on my research story during the past 35 years, and discuss philosophical reasons I could catch two new ideas.
