Abstract

摘要

I introduce horizon fluff, a particular class of near horizon soft hairs which have zero energy as measured by the near horizon observer, and which cannot be distinguished by observers at finite distance from the horizon. I will argue how this provides the first explicit proposal for all microstates of generic black holes in three and higher dimensions. These states are arranged in the orbit of the asymptotic two-dimensional conformal algebra associated with the black hole. By counting these microstates, using the Hardy–Ramanujan formula,we recovering the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy plus sub-leading logarithmic corrections.
