Abstract

Recently there has been renewed interest in asymptotic symmetries at null infinity. It has been argued that the symmetries at null infinity play a significant role in quantum theory as a symmetry of the S-Matrix. More precisely, it has been shown that the soft theorems are nothing but the Ward identity of certain asymptotic symmetries. In this talk, I will discuss the extension of such connection to the sub-leading orders of the soft theorems. |
