Abstract

In this talk, I will discuss an on-going project of bootstrapping 5d superconformal field theories (SCFTs). I will first give a brief review on other (non-bootstrap) approaches of studying 5d SCFTs. I will introduce the 5d superconformal algebra and its representations (the superconformal multiplets), and discuss the four point function of the 1/2 BPS operators. I will discuss the crossing symmetry and the superconformal blocks of the 1/2 BPS four point function, and introduce numerical techniques of analyzing the crossing equation. I will present some preliminary results on the spectrum of BPS and non-BPS operators, and the bounds on the OPE coefficients. |
