In particular, the proof of Ryu-Takayanagi formula for the multi-intervals in 2D CFT requires the better understanding of the conformal block in the large central charge limit. In this talk, I would like to introduce the recent development in this area, including our recent work on the holographic description of 2D conformal block in the semi-classical limit.
