For a general gravitational solution I introduce two class of symplectic conserved charges we can associate with these geometries: (two) charges associated with the exact symmetries and (infinitely many) Virasoro charges. I discuss further the one-to-one relation between Virasoro coadjoint orbits and geometries. I will show that the information about the geo:metries fall into two categories: "orbit invariant" information and "Virasoro hairs". The former are geometric quantities while the latter are specified by the non-local surface integrals. I will also comment on the implications of this analysis for a 2d CFT dual which could possibly be dual to pure AdS3 gravity. | Contact person 所内合作者 | Rong-Gen Cai |
