Abstract

摘要

The pole counting rule is an elegant way to distinguish mechanisms of generating near-threshold resonances by counting the number of nearby poles of the amplitudes in the complex energy plane. This is based on the observation that an elementary particle and an S-wave two-body bound state have different numbers of poles in the near-threshold region. This rule will be discussed in details and, as an example, it will be used to show that the Zc(3900) is a DbarD* molecular state.
