Abstract

摘要

Entanglement entropy (EE) plays an important rule in gauge-gravity duality and quantum many-body physics. The leading term of EE obeys the area law. However, in spacetime dimensions higher than two, it depends on how we regularize the theory. On the other hand, the logarithmic term of EE is universal and thus is of great interest. I will give a brief review of the progress in universal terms of EE. In particular, I focus on 3d and 6d CFTs and discuss the 'splitting problem' of holographic entanglement entropy briefly.

The talk is mainly based on JHEP 1510 (2015) 038 and JHEP 1510 (2015) 049.=2
