Abstract

摘要

Electric dipole moments (EDMs) are a fine probe of CP violation within and beyond the Standard Model. In this talk, I show how to combine chiral perturbation theory and lattice QCD to calculate the nucleon EDM from first principles. Next, I discuss the calculation of the EDMs of light nuclei using chiral effective field theory and show how these can be used to disentangle various scenarios of CP violation within and beyond the Standard Model.
