Abstract

摘要

It is shown that the statistical entropy of a generic isolated
horizon can be calculated by counting the number of degrees of
freedom of a boundary SO(1,1) BF theory on the isolated horizon
no matter whether the isolated horizon has rotation. The
boundary BF theory is quantized in a spirit of quantization
of interacting fields. The approach has many advantages and
a wide range of applications.

Outline:
1. Motivation
2. Isolated horizon as inner boundary
3. Quantization of BF theory
4. Spectrum of $\hat f_\alpha$ and entropy
5. Relax of gauge-fixing condition
6. Concluding remarks
