Abstract

摘要

Cluster Monte Carlo methods can save a lot of computertime for spin models with short-range interactions.Even more efficiency can be gained for spin models with long-range interactions. This is illustrated by means of analyses of the Ising model with algebraically decaying interactions, and of the equivalent-neighbor Potts model.
