For QCD radiative corrections at NNLO, a major difficulty is the handling of real radiation contribution. Soft gluon radiation of collinear gluon/quark splitting lead to infrared singularities which must be subtracted before phase space integral can be done. To deal with such difficulty, we have developed a one cut-off phase space slicing method applicable at NNLO in QCD. I will talk about the applications of this method to two processes, top quark decay and e+e- to top quark pair production at NNLO. |
