Abstract
摘要

Recent years have witnessed a burst of experimental activity concerning algorithmic self-assembly of nanostructures, motivated at least in part by the potential of this approach as a radically new manufacturing technology. Our specific interest is in the fabrication of Carbon-Nanotube Field Effect Transistor (CNFET) circuits using so called DNA origami tiles as a self-assembling substrate for composing the circuit.

The talk will present a broad general framework for the design and analysis of CNFET circuits affixed on DNA origami, together with some simulations and tentative experiments on the feasibility of the approach. Much work remains to be done, however. (Joint work with Eugen Czeizler.)
