Understanding non-Gaussian deviation of the temperature fluctuations of
the CMB is an important goal of cosmology today. A major motivation for
this investigation comes from our quest to understand the primordial
origins of the deviations coming from physics that governed the very early
universe. I will describe how we can systematically study them by making
simulations of CMB maps. I will describe the Minkowski Functionals
constructed from the temperature fluctuations and show how they encode the
non-Gaussian deviations and end with some comments on comparision with
observational data.
