Abstract :

I discuss a model which gives rise to a unified and environment dependent dark

sector, in the sense that it reduces to cold dark matter (CDM) plus a cosmological

constant on large scales, while produces non-clustering hot dark matter plus the

observationally preferred modified Newtonian dynamics(MOND) on galactic scales

, all using only a single dimensional parameter whose value is known accurately.

Whether the dark sector behaves as CDM, MOND or cosmological constant depen

ds entirely on the local geometry/curvature of the spacetime. I will detail why bot

h observations and theoretical consistency prefer the idea of environmental depen

dence, as well as mentioning the connection to the concept of a gravitational aether
