Abstract :

Factorization of collinear divergences is a fundamental topic
when calculating cross sections in perturbative QCD.  I will introduce a
new factorization scheme, the collinear scheme, which factorizes not
just the divergent terms but all the collinear physics into the parton
distribution functions.  I will then apply this scheme to calculate
cross sections with some interesting and promising results.
