Abstract :
In this talk I will present a way to introduce an electric or magnetic
field background for the flavour degrees of freedom in the D3-D7 model.
This is done by switching on a Kalb-Ramond field in the boundary
directions. The magnetic case is found to act binding on the meson. For
strong magnetic field we find a chiral symmetry breaking phase in which
the mesons can't melt at all. The electric field is found to effect a
dissociation of the mesons similar to the meson melting transition.
Is that okay?
