The 2023 Annual Meeting of the CAS Key Laboratory of Theoretical Physics successfully held
From June 1st to June 3rd, the 2023 annual meeting of the CAS Key Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (CAS-KLTP) was successfully held in Beijing. Up to about 100 researchers and graduate students from more than 10 domestic universities and research institutes attended this meeting.
Hai-Jun Zhou, executive deputy director of the CAS-KLTP, delivered a welcome speech, and expressed that the annual meeting is the most important academic activity of the CAS-KLTP, and the purpose of this meeting is to discuss the latest scientific research progresses and enhance the exchange and cooperation between researchers in various fields of theoretical physics.
The meeting consists of two parts: the conference reports and the symposiums. The symposiums have two sub-venues, namely "Quantum Many-Body Theory, Computation and Materials" and "Hadron Physics", which are organized by professors Sen Zhou and Fengkun Guo from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, CAS, respectively. Academician Tao Xiang of the Institute of Physics, CAS, Professor Yue Yu of Fudan University, Professor Zuotang Liang of Shandong University and Professor Qiang Zhao of the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, brought wonderful conference reports. 24 researchers from domestic universities and research institutes introduced the latest research progresses at the symposiums and had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the participants.
