Abstract
Motivated by the success of AdS/CFT, researchers have made numerous efforts to extend the holographic principle to asymptotically flat spacetimes (AFS), a research program known as Flat Holography. In this seminar, I will talk about my recent work on Carrollian holography, one of the main proposals for flat holography. After reviewing the basic elements of Carrollian holography (including Carrollian symmetry, primary fields, Carrollian correlators, Ward identities, and Carrollian amplitudes), I will focus on its various extensions and applications. The Carrollian method has been extended to Rindler spacetime, and it is closely related to black hole physics.
