On The Quark Mass Dependence of Exotic Resonances

08/19 2025 Seminar
  • Title On The Quark Mass Dependence of Exotic Resonances
  • Speaker Raquel Molina Peralta (Valencia University, IFIC)
  • Date 10:00 AM, Aug. 19, 2025
  • Venue Conference Room 322, North Building
  • Abstract

In this talk I will discuss the quark mass dependence of several exotic resonance states. On the one hand, I will talk about the T_cc, the light and heavy pion mass dependence, and discuss about the effect of the ρ and pion exchange. On the other hand, I will review a recent work of analysis of LQCD data related to the Λ(1405), where the quark mass dependence was extracted as the pole positions in the SU(3) limit.

    Biography

Professor Raquel Molina earned her PhD from Valencia University in 2012, followed by postdoctoral research at the Research Center for Nuclear Physics (RCNP), Osaka University (2012–2014), George Washington University (2014–2017), and LAL-IFUSP, São Paulo (2017–2019). In 2019, she returned to Spain as a scientific researcher at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. A year later, in 2020, she moved back to Valencia and became permanent staff as professor.
