  • Abstract

Quark model was suggested about 60 years ago as a basis for the classification scheme for the hadrons known at that time. Since then the quark model remains a powerful tool for understanding various properties of hadronic states. I will discuss a potential quark model and chiral quark model in application to the spectrum of mesons and explain the difference in the predictions these models can provide.
