Primordial Black Holes from double-field inflationary models
- Title Primordial Black Holes from double-field inflationary models
- Speaker Ying-li Zhang (Tongji University)
- Date 14:30 Aug. 26, 2024
- Venue 6620
Primordial black holes (PBHs) are a kind of black holes which may form during the primordial epoch of the universe. In this talk, I will discuss two different mechanisms of formation of PBHs (namely PBHs from enhancement of primordial curvature perturbations, and PBHs from the collapse of bubbles) in double-field inflationary models.
Biography
Ying-li Zhang obtained the PhD degree from the Yukawa Institute of Theoretical Physics (YITP) of Kyoto University in 2013, supervised by Misao Sasaki. After that, he was postdoctoral researcher in YITP, National Astronomy Observatory of China (NAOC), Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation (ICG) of the University of Portsmouth, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology. From 2020, he entered Tongji University as researcher. In 2024, he was selected as a Peng Huanwu Youth Scholar of ITP. His main interest is theoretical cosmology, including inflationary models, primordial black holes and modified gravity theories.
