Abstract
F(R) gravity theory predicts a new fundamental scalar field called scalaron. The scalaron field can be the origin of dark energy to explain the accelerated expansion of the current Universe. The scalaron field may receive sizable effects from the dynamics of matter fields in the early Universe, which can influence the standard cosmic history. We will discuss the scalaron dynamics in the early Universe and the possible impacts on the Hubble tension.
Biography
Dr. Taishi Katsuragawa is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Astrophysics of Central China Normal University. He received his PhD from Nagoya University in 2017. After that, he held positions as Postdoctoral Researcher at Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute of Nagoya University and Central China Normal University. His current research efforts focus on the study of the modified gravity theory and its applications to the dark side of the Universe, astrophysics, and particle cosmology.
