Waveguide quantum electrodynamics studies the interaction between a confined electromagnetic field and matter. As a structured environment, the coupled resonator waveguide will regulate the radiation and dynamical evolution of atoms and other kinds of matter. Based on our recent work, we will discuss the interaction between light and atoms in coupled resonator waveguide mainly from the following two aspects: On the one hand, the study of super-correlated radiation induced by two-photon bound states in the nonlinear coupled cavity array system, that is, the radiation of a single atom is suppressed, and the collective radiation process of two atoms is enhanced. During this process, the emission rate is proportional to N4 which exceeds the N2 law in the traditional Dicke super-radiance. On the other hand, we will study the one-dimensional topologically coupled resonator waveguide, which nonlocally couples to a giant atom. We mainly discuss the chirality of the zero mode of the system and the non-Markov retardation effect.
