The bright sirens from future gravitational-wave detector networks

06/17 2021 Seminar
  • Title The bright sirens from future gravitational-wave detector networks
  • Speaker 杨涛 (APCTP, South Korea)
  • Date 14:30 am, Thursday, June 17th, 2021 (Beijing Time)
  • Venue ITP New Building 6420 Room
  • Abstract
I will introduce my recent work which forecasts the potential of bright sirens from future GW detector networks,  i.e., the second-generation ground-based advanced LIGO+advanced Virgo+KAGRA+LIGO-India (HLVKI), the third-generation ground-based Einstein Telescope+two Cosmic Explorer (ET+2CE), and the space-based LISA+Taiji, on cosmology and modified gravity theory. The construction of joint Hubble diagram from these networks will be briefly introduced and then the results based on different data analysis methods will be discussed.
