    Abstract

    摘要

The history of the Higgs during inflation is the closest point of contact between particle physics and cosmology. This history leads to cosmological signals which dramatically show the union of the Standard Model and Lambda-CDM.  Depending on the energy scale of inflation and how quickly the inflaton decays at reheating, the Higgs plays different roles: it can act as a curvaton; it can modulate the decay of the inflaton; and its own decay can change the thermal history of the universe. I will present new insights on these signals. First I will focus on whether Higgs fluctuations can form primordial black hole dark matter when it explores its large-field instability. Then I will show how in our familiar electroweak vacuum the HIggs can set the maximum temperature our universe ever achieved, with important cosmological consequences.
