ITP professors have done a series of research on dark energy and inflationary model. In dark energy, the most representative work is professor Li Miao’s holographic dark energy model based on holographic principle, which is the first model of accelerated Expansion of the Universe, sometimes called Li Miao model. This is one of the popular models on dark energy, but in the long term, we don’t know if this model is stable. One work done in this year proved the stability of holographic dark energy. In this work, the interaction between holographic dark energy and matter was classified, and this interaction can’t explain the coincidence that the density of dark energy and matter is close to each other. The better way to address this issue is to connect holographic dark energy with early inflation.
