The 2013 annual meeting of the strategic development committee of ITP was successfully held from 12th Mar. to 13th Mar. 2013. Outside members Chen Jiansheng, Chen Runsheng, Feng Shiping, Hao Bolin, He Xiantu, Xie Siyuan, Qiao Congfeng, Shen Wenqing, Sun Changpu, Wang Dingsheng, Wang Qing, Weng Zhengyu, Wu Xiangping, Xia Jianbai, Xie Xincheng, Xing Zhizhong, Zhang Huanqiao, Zhang Xinmin, Zhang Zongye, Zhao Guangda, Zhu Bangfen, Zhu Chuanjie, Zhuang Pengfei, Li Jiaming, Tao Ruibao, Wang Wei, Wu Yuanfang, Xu Hushan, Ye Chaohui, and members from ITP Cai Ronggen, Chen Yuqi, Dai Yuanben, Du Mengli, He Zuoxiu, Li Miao, Ma Jianping, Ouyang Zhongcan, Su Zhaobing, Yi Su, Yu Yue, Zhang Zhaoxi, Zhou Shangui, and Min Huang, Vice Director-General of Bureau of Basic Sciences Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peng Zilong, director of division of science project and Nuclear Science of Bureau of Basic Sciences Chinese Academy of Sciences, Kong Minghui, vice director of Math and Physics Division of Bureau of Basic Sciences Chinese Academy of Sciences, and vice directors of ITP, Mu Kexiong and Chen Xiaosong were presented at the meeting.
To begin with, Academician Zhongcan Ouyang, Chairman of the strategic development committee delivered a welcome speech to experts and leaders. Then Bingsong Zou, director of ITP made a brief introduction of strategic development committee, and gave an annual report about the latest development of SKLTP and ITP. He pointed out the development ideas that ITP, KITPC and SKLTP are “three in one”, introduced ITP’s “135”development Planning(one positioning， three breakthroughs, five important fostering directions) and reiterate that along with theoretical physicists from around the world, ITP can be a basic research center, a talents fostering basement, and academic exchange platform and finally to be a world class national Theoretical Physics center. During the past year, ITP has made a rapid progress in scientific research, projects and talent. He hopes experts can give suggestions on the future development of ITP and SKLTP.
