Abstract :

We provide a novel transfer matrix approach to do exact calculation of the end-to-end distribution of a polymer with bending stiffness under a given tension. Important applications include theoretical calculation of DNA looping probability and the experimental study of DNA looping proteins using single molecule manipulation techniques.
